Welcome to MPT's discussion forums
To ensure that our viewers, members and community members are able to participate in an open exchange of ideas in the spirit of discovery and community, we have developed more specific guidelines of engagement.
By registering and participating here you agree to respect and abide by our discussion forum rules:
(1) You will not use the forums to post topics that do not relate significantly or relevantly to the discussion topic you are joining.
(2) You will not advertise or solicit other members to buy, sell or peruse any products or services through this discussion forum. Chain letters and junk mail are strictly prohibited.
(3) You will not post material that is knowingly defamatory, illegal, abusive, threatening, harassing, or racially offensive. As with anything, you will use good common sense.
(4) You will not violate a person's privacy by publishing against his/her will information that is private and personal.
(5) You will not post material that is sexually or otherwise obscene and has no educational purpose or any significant relevance to an ongoing and legitimate discussion.
(6) You will not post, distribute or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. Exceptions to this standard are covered by the Federal law regarding fair use, 17 USCS 107, and related case law, which holds that only partial excerpts of copyrighted material may be reproduced, and only as necessary for criticism or comment.
(7) You agree that if any of these rules are abused, the offending message may be removed without prior notice, and if you repeatedly violate any of these rules or otherwise seek to disrupt the board then the administrators can disable your account at their discretion.
